Our History

The idea for Kojo’s K9 Treats began in 2021, during the infamous COVID-19 “lockdown”. Spending more time with our dogs and improving their training, meant we needed to find healthy training treats – and what better way to do this than to make our own!

Banjo and Koda (hence Kojo’s), were very enthusiastic about this idea and remain our loyal taste testers and quality control consultants.

Who are we?

Our Head Chef and boss-man Zac is always working away in the kitchen preparing the meat and biscuit products to a high standard of quality. Zac is always experimenting and looking for new products to add to our collection, and is open to new ideas – don’t be shy to share your ideas with him!

Zac is not only our man in the kitchen, he is also operating our market stalls within the Macarthur and surrounding areas. Busy busy!

Zac is supported by his wife Katrina, who assists with admin, social media and generally keeping Zac on task! She also helps out occasionally at markets.

Banjo & Koda are our dogs, both are a Kelpie cross, rescued from our local pound. They are both very active and intelligent – always up to mischief if we don’t keep them busy. They absolutely love all of our products, we wouldn’t sell them if they didn’t! Check out our social media pages for updates on their antics.

Tilly & Freya are our two cats (who think they are dogs) – they are often getting into trouble, sneaking into the kitchen and stealing snacks from the treat bucket. They love the chicken and fish products the best.

Why are we different?

We strive to produce the best natural dog treats, with no additives, preservatives or anything artificial. We source our products from local suppliers and use Australian products when and where possible.
